How to avoid temptations?

2nd day on this. I constantly want to nibble on different foods. My mom made a ehole bunch of cookies and everytime I see them, I just want to eat them all. Sweets are my weakness. I just want to eat a bit of everything but that's bot practical since it will make counting calories a difficult task.

Ask your mother stop baking for awhile and help you avoid temptation
I'm like you so I have no sweets in the house right now. That's the only way I can do this. Remember yesterday is gone. Today is a new day.

Try putting them out of sight? I find when I can't see it, it helps me not to want to snack on it.

Yeah sweets are my weakness too...only things that stops me is motivation of being fit or accepting things the way they are..its like questioning mind everytime I crave for sweets and ultimately telling mind to shut up.

Other small things that help are ....keeping stomach filled like with whey or fruits, not keeping sweets at home that I crave for.

Lastly if I do eat sweets that I crave for , I just jog equivalent to the calories of sweets.

Problem is, there will always be food around that will tempt me. I had to learn to say, "No," to myself. If I have good meals planned, it makes it easier.
