How often do you weigh yourself?

Some people on MFP weigh themselves every 2-3days.
I do it every Tuesday but I think I might change it to every 2 days just to monitor my progress/failures.
How often do you weigh yourself? How does it help throughout your journey?

Every day. I feel like it keeps me accountable and I like to see the trends. I log it in mfp once a week.0

I weigh every day as well. Right after I get up and use the bathroom. In minimal clothing, I might add.0

Every weekday morning (I'm up too early on the weekends to bother with it). If you're going to do it more often, just be aware that fluctuations up and down WILL happen. There are many apps out there that will let you see the trend outside of the fluctuations.0

I do it every 2 days, I be hoping good would happen and if I see something I don't like on the scale it push me harder0

Every day. I do not get discouraged though. Some people cannot deal with the ups and downs. If I know nothing has changed the day before and such, yet I am up...I probably did not drink enough water so I drink more the next day. Or if I ate like crap, I see what it it did to me, so lessen learn.
I keep track on a weight monitoring app on phone, only log weight loss here on Friday's0 -

When I started I used to weigh myself every day but changed it to once a week. I might do it every 2 days.

I weigh everyday and use Trendweight (or Libra app is good too), so I can see the trends. as long as the trend is headed down, the daily fluctuations don't get me riled up

Once a week. After the morning "routine", before I get dressed and before breakfast. My weight fluctuates every day and all I really care about is, "Have I lost any weight this week"?0

I weigh every morning as well. It's important to notice the fluctuations and trends which also helps me rely on other forms of measurement(loss of inches, lose fitting clothes, looking and feeling better ) or other nsv. Now I can pretty much expect a higher weight after certain meals, menstruation, or a heavy lifting day. Understanding my body has made a significant difference in my weightloss approach.0

I weigh every morning after I go to the bathroom. I've noticed a trend in how I lose weight this way. During a period of about four days, I'll lose anywhere from 1-4 lbs. The next four days, my weight kind of stalls and on the last day, I lose usually 1-2 lbs. I've also noticed my weight is like a tide, sometimes I've gained a pound only to find the next day that I've actually lost 2 lbs. It doesn't discourage me to weigh myself everyday because I have a better sense of how I personally lose.0

I'm trying to understand my body but it's stubborn lol.
I did a before and after (after I lost 5 lbs) I didn't see any difference, unfortunately0 -
I weigh myself every day, in the morning, before my shower, with the understanding that random fluctuations are expected (for me they are usually +/- 2 lbs.) and I use the restroom before weighing, but I only log when I lose weight. I also use calipers to estimate by BF% and I use these once per month on my belly only. I have a freckle that I use as a landmark. I've lost 20 lbs. since Jan 1 and my BF% has gone from 35% to 29% I think. I currently weight 230, so if I did my math and measuring right, that's 15 lbs of fat and 5 lbs of water-weight.0

I'm trying to maintain so I weigh almost every day to keep my head in the game and not get slack, since I don't log my food anymore. While losing, I weighed myself a couple of times weekly, which was sufficient as I was also focused by logging my calories.0

20lbs!!!!
Amazing! Congrats.
I have a long way to go.0 -
Every day, and I log it every day too. Keeps me honest and alerts me right away to any adjustments I need to make.0

once a week on sunday evenings.i would probably see a lower number on the scale if i did it in the morning ,but the way i do it..well it makes me feel better. Because it still shows i lost weight even after my daily meals and a full stomach.0

I do daily as well. It definitely helps keep me motivated. Always in the morning , after bathroom, naked. I record it on Wednesdays and Sunday's. Wednesday because that's to the week when I started here again, Sunday because that's always been my official weigh in day in my head. Lol0
-
I weigh myself on Thursdays (don't log this) and Sundays (which I log on MFP).0

Feels good to know I'm not the only one doing daily weigh-ins. All my friends think I'm crazy for doing it because "you're not supposed to" . But as mentioned, knowing the daily trends helps considerably with my exercise planning as I do all my workouts at home on my own. I also log my measurements once a week or two because I'm in the middle of a challenge.0
