I just googled it. It's on self.com. Apparently my "happy weight" is 10 lbs under what I figured I'd be happy at. haha

Not even close for me. It said 157. I would have to be anoerexic to get there, lol. In reality, I don't care what I weight, however, I would like to be 8% body fat within the next 4 months. I am at 12% now. I would suspect I woudl be around 180 ish.

This is an article about the calculator.

I found it, and apparently my "happy weight" is 140, which at this point seems rather impossible to get to, not to mention stay at. I'll be ecstatic when/if I ever get under 150, lol

It told me 121lbs which is right on for me.

Maybe it's more accurate for woman because it doesn't account for muscle. BTW, I haven't been 157 since 7th grade.

wow it put my happy weight at 126 which is what I weighed back in 7th grade. My inital goal weight was 140 and my streach goal of 130-135. 126lbs would be a total of 124 lbs loss for me so I would be cutting my initial weight in half.

It said 118 for me. I'm 5' and my bmi range is 98 to 128 so it basically gave me smack dab in the middle. Dumb. I haven't weighed 118 since I graduated high school BEFORE having 3 kids. I don't think my body will ever see under 125 so I'm looking to just hit healthy bmi and be happy there. :)

oh my...131 happy weight. My goal is 140-145, I'm not sure I will ever get to the 130's..haven't been there in 25 years..eek.
good luck to all on our happy weight!

If I ever got to the weight it said (142!) I would die of happiness. I'm about 175 right now,and my next goal is 170, and I was kind of hoping then to aim for 160 and see where that brings me. I'm going slowly with this journey, and looking forward to keep losing pounds!

It gave me 147 lbs, which is just 3 under my goal weight. I'd say that's pretty good!

Unrealistically small weight I think..... if I ever got to 58kg (130 pounds) I'd look terrible.
I'm aiming for 67kg, so about 17 pounds higher than their "happy weight!".
    FAIL!

Wow! I'm really surprised. The self calculator has my goal weight at 133.2 and my goal weight is 127-130.

I'm below my "happy weight"?!?! It says 147.2 and I'm at 145 now. My goal is around 140...

I'm guessing this is just for women and it told me 160 :noway: I'm 195 now with about 15% body fat. Truthfully I'll be happier when I'm back up to 200-210 (fat loss / muscle gain)

HAHA~ that's funny. Says mine is 129, which is true:) My emotional age is 22, which sounds about right as well. I have to remind myself that i'm almost 40 sometimes.:drinker:

A little low for me. I think I'd be happy between 150-155, not the 146 they suggest. I'll know when I get there!

Apparently, I am the exception to the rule here. My "happy weight" was 168.7 which is definitely NOT my happy weight. My goal is 150-155.

It says that my "happy weight" is 144.1 lbs. That makes me happy, it's close to my goal too!:flowerforyou:

I'm not in agreement with it... it puts me at 134 happy weight. I'm 135 now! I've always been at 125 and felt my best there. I'm not so sure it's that accurate.

I'm below my "happy weight"?!?! It says 147.2 and I'm at 145 now. My goal is around 140...

Same with me. I'm 112 and it wants me to be 116. I wasn't happy there. I am happy at 112.

Same here. It has me at 157.5 and I'm currently 157 wanting to be 145. Hmmmm.

It puts my happy weight at 124.2 lbs. Currently my goal is 125, however I know that at 125 my body won't exactly look the way I want it to...but it's a start.

I got 128 as a response. My goal is 127. Pretty accurate for me, at least.

I wonder though, the question "Recently quit smoking?"
when I answer 'no', that is because I never smoked in the first place. Does this 'no' answer assume that I am still smoking since I didn't recently quit?

It is just worded so poorly, I can't understand it.
