Has anyone tried it? If so, does it work?
Are you sore? It looks like a blast, and I love to dance, it's just hard to imagine getting fit simply dancing around. Let me know your experiences please

In the month of February I only did Zumba. I lost 8lbs and 4 inches in my waist. I love it!! I have all the dvds from Zumba fitness and the game on the Xbox Kinect. I attend class twice a week.0

I did Relay For Life and there was a free Zumba class. Sooooo much fun! I was sweating! I could feel it! I'd love to do it again.0

I LOVE Zumba! I have the dvd set and I sweat like crazy! Such an awesome cardio exercise... you can def get fit by just doing zumba. They also have weights that come with the dvd set so you can build muscle also. You should try it!0

I love Zumba!!! I got at least once a week, more if I can swing it! I'm trying out a new instructor tomorrow, I have heard his class is killer, but soooo fun!
I've recently also been considering going to an instructor training so I can teach it!
As far as "working," I know it has definitely helped in my weight loss, but I also do other cardio and strength training. But I do know of people who have lost pretty good amounts of weight by doing Zumba often.0 -
I do Zumba once a week & love it. Really gets the heartrate up.
I wasn't sore after my 1st class & I was super unfit.
And it is really fun0 -
I currently weigh 253 and I go to Zumba every week and am able to make it through a whole class. I LOVE it and it's tons of fun and a great way to scorch some calories. I've lost 31 lbs thus far (but I'm doing more than just Zumba) but the girl that teaches my Zumba class lost about 60 lbs doing just Zumba and changing her eating habits. It's totally worth it, in my opinion!0

Let me qualify that testimony of my instructor in that she did Zumba about 4 times a week...not just once a week.0 -
I LOVE ZUMBA! It is so much fun and you definitely get a good workout. I don't do it regularly so I don't know what kind of results you would get doing just Zumba alone but it is a great workout.
The cool thing about Zumba is that anyone can do it... Young, old, fit, fat. Since it's mostly just jumping around, dancing and shaking your booty you can make it as difficult or easy as you want.
I like to do Zumba whenever I'm feeling unmotivated or bored with my workout; Zumba gets me excited about working out. The music is always a lot of fun too!

zumba is great cardio! I can burn about 800 cals in an hour and if you really engage your core, you get a great workout. I think a lot depends on your instructor, but try a few and find a good fit. It's a blast and my legs are usually sore the next day or so. It's hands down my favorite exercise bc it's F U N !0

Do a search on the forums and you'll find lots of Zumba enthusiasts and support. Lots of Zumba love here on the site.0

I don't do it yet, but I hear everyone LOVES Zumba!! I do other dance workout routines and YES it does burn calories and fat... you find a good fast past cardio based dance and you will sweat your face off! LoL. I love the dance workouts.. without them I don't think I would be able to get through exercising... lol0
