I just read it and like it, even though some of his exercises aren't too practical for a woman of my age and weight. (It would take me 5 minutes just to get up from the floor. ) Tom Venuto, who's a body builder, emphasizes building lean body mass rather than focusing purely on weight loss, which makes sense. His focus is on strength training and measuring body fat. The advice is not unique--set specific goals, make meal plans, customize your diet and exercise to your needs--but he organizes it well, serves up plenty of specific strategies, and bases his info on science rather than woo. I'm very cynical about "diet" books, so I was happy to find one that impresses me.0
