i am not sure where to post this. I use an Android and a Jawbone UP2. My Jawbone UP 2 feeds info to the MyfitnessPal app on my phone. My steps feed MyfitnessPal and credits me exercise calories as I walk more. When I swim, I swim an hour; 30 min freestyle, 30 minute breastroke. I enter two separate Cardio entries. When I add these into MyfitnessPal the exercise credit of calories for my steps disappear, leaving only the exercise credits for swimming. Am I doing entering something incorrectly? Looking forward to your reply. GREAT app by the way. Thank you.

I haven't done this, so I am not sure if this will fix your issue.
When you enter the swimming activity (I assume in MFP), make sure you enter the correct starting time, since the two apps synchronize according to the starting time. If the swimming activity logged in MFP is not logged correctly, I think it will overwrite any step activity in the UP2 over the same time period.
If that does not work, you may want to open a Case with Customer Support on the MFP Help pages...

ok if this is similar to my logging problems I was having I was told to just log in one app. I'm still somewhat confused on this myself. But I have noticed that only logging on UP keeps my negative adjustments on MFP. I don't think all of my exercise calories are accounted for this way but I don't lose any numbers by only logging on the UP App.

Let me know what you find, as I would like to keep my stuff as accurate as I can.

I have the same issue. Let's say it estimates 200 calories burned based on my steps. I then add an hour on a stationary bike, which obviously has nothing to do with steps calculated by my phone, and that burns 400 calories. Why would the step calories then be reduced to zero? Because in this scenario, without fail, my total calories burned for the day is reported as 400, not 600.
