Haven't stayed consistent lifting weights. Been on n off lifting for about 2 years.. but super inconsistent like lift for a week take a week off. Lift for 2 weeks take a week or more off lift a day take a week off. Same with my diet.. I have a decent body outside of the bodybuilding community but I want to be bigger and thicker. I get lost reading stuff online so could someone help with what I should be aiming for in regards to call / macros and a good routine to build some size. I'm 178lb right now 5'10 waist is about 32.5 inches.

Getting big is about consistency. You need a consistent surplus and consistently workout.

you have already identified the problem = inconsistency ...
consistent surplus + consistent training = consistent gains0 -
The most reoccurring answer I get whenever I've asked this question is the plan itself doesn't so much matter as sticking to it consistently and progressing with how much you're lifting.0

Thanks, I do look wonderfully grey. Not quite fifty shades of grey, just the two, which is sort of an apt comparison between my sex life and the one in that book. Or so I've heard.0 -
