Thinking about Turkey (country not bird!!) in July

Hi everyone - I have been messing around at this for over 12 months but have now decided to really use this app/website to help me. I have set a goal of 1.5lbs each week - 15 weeks until my holiday = 22 lbs. That would be great. I am posting my thoughts on a regular basis to help me cope with lots of business meetings/meals!!!! Look forward to encouraging others to succeed with me.

I love Turkey. I would love to go back and spend at least two weeks. But I don't think I would want to go now. Too dangerous for my taste. Be careful!

There are certainly bad things happening in Turkey right now (not that much of it makes it to the news headlines) so be careful.

However, what is your starting weight and height? 1.5lbs per week is a fairly aggressive goal and if you don't have a lot to lose you may struggle

    Hello,

I agree with mom23mangos, Turkey is very dangerous right now, I would suggest checking the US State Department web site for warnings and try and follow Non US news to get specific details on what is happening
in Turkey. I follow @nateschenkkan on twitter for news on Turkey because I watch and read more news than
most humans should, the middle east is a mess and Turkey is becoming worse.

Feel free to add me, I am not really a David-Downer! :)

    Enjoy the weight loss journey!

    David

I'm off to turkey in April & July, they can be a healthy bunch so not worried about the food out there
Yes it's dangerous but what about the rest of Europe i.e yesterday & last year?

You can't stay in your house all day every day....you'll start to pick in the fridge
