I need help with figuring out how to not gain too much on my springbreak next week! I'm 5'3" have gotten down from 157 to 147 since January-ish (I lose weight slowly) and don't want to ruin my progress. I'm a medical student and this is my last springbreak ever and will be going to Charleston, SC/Greensboro,NC for about 5-6 days. I plan on trying to eat decently healthy but I'm worried about calories at local restaurants and when I should splurge. I don't want to completely deny myself good food but I feel like it's going to be hard to not indulge/underestimate calories the whole trip. Does anyone have advice for MFP logging on vacation??

Can you share meals with a friend or significant other? That way you are only eating half of the calories/meal.

The other option is not eat out as much. Maybe try to have a light break fast and light lunch during the day and splurge for dinner?

    Walk most places.
Log EVERYTHING even if you have to totally guess, just log it anyway.
    Enjoy yourself :)
Know that enjoying yourself doesn't mean living it up at every meal.
Opt for salads or grilled veggies if given a side choice.

Wait like a week after you get back to weigh yourself!!
This can be tough, but if you weigh yourself right away, you may be dissapointed due to water weight gained from sodium rich foods!
