Hi

I am keen to make Protein pancakes for my breakfast - does anyone have any decent recipes? Anything under 300 cals - I have unflavoured protein powder which i would love to incorporate into them as well

Thanks

my personal trainer gave me a recipe, 1 scoop of protein powder, 1/3 cup of oats, egg whites, add mixture and "fry" in coconut oil
haven't made it yet, but it sounds good and healthy and recommends I have them for my lunches

    5 oz greek yogurt
    1 egg
    1 scoop protein powder
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
    scant 1/2 cup flour
    water

Mix all ingredients together. Add water a little at a time until you reach pancake batter consistency. Cook in lightly greased pan on medium heat.

I like to use the Dannon Light and Fit Greek flavored yogurts ;) And personally, I don't recommend coconut flour...they just never seem to set up right. But that could just be me.

My personal trainer gave me this recipe

1 cup of liquid egg whites
2 spoonfuls of low fat cottage cheese
1 packet of organic original quacker instant oatmeal
    1 scoop of protein
blend all together and it will make your cake batter. cook just like pancakes

Not sure the protein amount but blending 2 eggs and one banana makes a tasty no flour pancake.

    These are the best, IMO

But I still prefer Kodiak power cakes, mostly because they taste fantastic with savory toppings (it's always the toppings that kill my calories).

1 scoop powder (I use vanilla)
    2 whole eggs
    2 egg whites
3 oz cottage cheese or plain greek yogurt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda

The whole recipe is about 350-375 calories, so make some and eat half if you don't want all the calories in one sitting. It makes a good amount.

All I do is 1/2 scoop of flavored protein powder and 6 tbsp of egg whites. I usually add sugar free syrup, whipped topping and sprinkles (because I'm a child).

I love pancakes made from yogurt. I also love Dannon Light and Fit Greek. I wouldn't mind trying this at all.
