Hello! I'm Nerisa and my weight can drop really really quickly I droped 11 kg the last 2 weeks by eating right and by cardiovascular training. I did gain weight back within a month because of repeated binge eating for 4 weeks straight it was horrible. So right now I've lost 3.7 kg within 2 days. Although i am aiming for 27 more kg. Good luck everyone

11kgs in 2 weeks is way too fast and unhealthy.

Still too fast. You risk losing too much lean body mass and a whole host of other medical problems.

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? What calorie goal did MfP give you? Are you reaching that number? Are you weighing food or just eyeballing and potentially over estimating your calorie intake? Do you eat your exercise calories back?

To lose 11 kg of fat you need to have a deficit of 77 000 kcal. If your TDEE is 2000 (mine is about 1600 for example) that would come to 28 000 kcal all together in a 2 week time. which means it is quite unlikely to have a 77 000 deficit. I would even call it impossible. Water weight is whole different point. And that comes back fast, and means nothing. No crash diets are ever successful. If you are on a diet and eating in a way that you couldn't sustain long term it is a perfect recipe to fail. Set realistic goals, take it slow. Calculate our TDEE and eat 500 less. Weight your food, log everything.

OP, I'll let you know how long it takes when I get there. :) I have lost just over 23kg in just under 6 months, and need to lose another 9.5 or so in the next 3 months. That's pretty quick but I started at 132.4 so the first few months resulted in a lot of weight loss.

You are looking for a "quick fix" rather than a change of lifestyle ... That might work for a short spell, but will leave you having to battle the same fight everytime. Better to change the way you eat than to do a starvation exercise ... much healthier in the long run

Well, this is obvious. You starve yourself, over-restrict, and then blow on a binge. Why not cut calories to a sustainable level?

Give it time all things worth it takes time. I'm starting on my fourth week of changing my diet and exercising and lost 7.5 lbs. It takes time, it may take years for some to get it off, but your learning new healthier habits that can change your life.

I lost 35 pounds (16 kg) in about 10 weeks when I first started getting serious about weight loss. I thought it made me look unhealthy (so did others) so I slowed down and lost at total of 75 pounds (34 kgs) in 18 months...which was way more fun.

It took me 12 months to lose 70 pounds (which is 31.75 kg). Take care of yourself and eat food that is nourishing to your body... real food. whole food. non-processed food. When you take good care of yourself nutritionally and treat your body with respect, your weight tends to take care of itself too.

It took me from November 2012 - Spring 2014. So 17 months. Which is 28.1227 kg.

It is not a race, it is a lifestyle change. I am only back on here because I had a pregnancy and am now working on loosing the last 10lbs.

You lost that much because you have water weight to loose (5kg probably was that) You probably lost some fat yes but not as much as you think. You loss numbers will slow down now that you are out of that new newbie phase and will start to reflect your deficit more.

Google BMR and TDEE. Eat between those two numbers for a healthy way to lose the weight.

The first 75 lbs took about 9 months. The next 75 lbs is taking another 15-17 months. Not quite there yet.
