How long do you have to be in a calorie deficit for results to show!
Why being in a calorie deficit works
in weight loss.

When you say for results to show, do you mean visible changes in your body or a drop on the scale?

As explained before, your body operates on an energy balance. Calories In vs Calories Out.

If these two things are equal you will maintain:
    CI = CO

If your calories in exceeds your calories out you will gain weight:
    CI>CO

If your calories in is less than your calories out you will lose weight:
    CI<CO

This is called a calorie deficit and can be achieved by either eating less, or increasing the calories out side of the equation through exercise, or a combination of both.

Been only doing a calorie deficit for 2 days,my bad,too short to see results.
I have to do it for 7 days. How do I burn
    more than what I consume?

You burn calories just by being alive, through your daily activity, and through exercise. What does MFP say your calorie goal is? It will enable you to achieve that calorie deficit without even adding exercise, if you are logging accurately and honestly.

I'm getting deja vu as I feel we've had this conversation before so is there something specific you aren't understanding from your previous posts and the answers you've gotten?

I got it. I am in a calorie deficit which is
most important. I only workout 4 days
a week,is that ok or not enough!

As I said. If you are using the goal that MFP provided you then you don't have to exercise at all, the deficit is built into that goal. Exercising 4 times a week is fine, you should be eating back a portion of those calories as well.

Very important, log honestly, if you cheat here you are not getting away with anything, your body will gain weight even if you don't show the extra calories on your food page, only when you look back you will not understand why. I have been trying very hard to lose more weight and find eating at home is almost a must for me, I cannot be sure of everything that is in food at a resturaunt, they want me to like the food, not lose weight. I count everything at home, especially little things like cooking oils and butter in the skillet, those add up fast.

Set your weight loss goals on MFP and follow the guidlines and you will lose.

The most important factor here that you need is patience. If you aren't patient, you might get frustrated and want to give up. Weight loss comes down to maintaining a deficit and time.

It took me about 20 pounds before it was kind of noticeable. Really noticeable at 30 pounds but that will all depend on how much you have to lose. I'm down 48 pounds from my original weight and it took about 7 months.
