i I'm Andrea, I am trying to lose 30-50 pounds in order to avoid developing diabetes. Besides the vague down-the-road possibility of diabetes, I am not very motivated; I love food, it is very comforting to me, and I am really struggling with trying to change what and why I eat. I am looking for someone or some people to lose weight with and help me stay motivated and encouraged.

    welcome to the community! i've found the easiest way to keep me on track so far is to just have a bunch of friends who keep active on here, so i can see their progress & interact with them to remind me to stay on track. there's various groups for things like recipe sharing as well, so maybe you can find some new healthy things that you just love to eat rather than thinking of it like a chore. feel free to add me & remember to stay positive about the whole thing. you don't have to stop eating the things you love, just find some healthier things for other days!

    I'm new today I'll happily help you if you help me. (Applies to everyone) I have my own issues though. problem 1 - this is day 1 of my diet and so far I can't log my food. It's says I haven't eaten enough. But I don't want to eat anymore! I still have a 1000 calories owing. But I've eaten loads. I've burnt 500 calories in exercise today. How do I beat this?
