I am 5'2", 117 lbs and over 50 with a small frame, I maintain at 1300-1400 calories per day. I mainly walk 30 min-1 hour per day. If I do more exercise, I add more calories, but try not to go over too much otherwise I gain for sure.0

I'm 5'1, turning 40 soon!!! I lift 5x a week and also run 5x a week. I'm training for a marathon so my calories are between 1800 and 2000. When I was on my weight loss journey I was at 1300-1500 but still lifting 5x week with 2 cardiovascular sessions 2x week.0

5ft 2 here, 46yrs/ 130lbs and maintain easily on 2100-2200 calories gross.
I'm very active, walk loads, run 5 days a week and lift x 3 days.1 -
Me: 5'2", 39, 120 lbs
I'm still trying to figure out what works for me. I burn about 300 calories per day working out (cardio & weights) and was trying for 1700 calories/day, but was still losing. Not as quickly, but still losing. I upped my calories to 1800 and will try that for a couple weeks to see how it goes. I would say trying to stay between 1600 and 1900 will work, but still working out the details on that. I do usually allow myself to indulge/not count calories one day each weekend so that always has to be taken into consideration for me during the week.0 -
5'2", 45, 139.8#. Maintaining on 1900-2000 calories. I get 30,000 steps a day walking 10ish hours.0

Around 5.1", 1200 seems to be my maintain cals.0
-
1900 and still increasing every 2 weeks0
-
ise311 really 1200 to maintain? So you all still eat a good amount of calories then. Micki773 I probably burn about 300 a day as well so I'll try your calories see whst happens x0

5'2", 24, ~14.5% body fat, 105 lbs.
I stretch pretty intensely at least an hour every day and do aerial silks 3 or 4 hours per week.
I aim for ~2,000/day and use http://www.health-calc.com/diet/energy-expenditure-advanced for the TDEE calculator, which seems to be fairly accurate based on feedback I've heard from others (and it's fun to play with the dials).
I only recently started counting because I was losing a bit of weight before and got sick a lot. Felt like my body was telling me that I wasn't getting enough food and that I was under recovering from working out, so I wanted to be a bit better about it.2 -
I am 5'2, 47 years young and 138 lbs. On my training days, I eat between 1100-1300 calories. When I do Intermittent Fasting on my rest days, I eat between 800-1000 calories. I am still trying to body recomp though so this is only temporary. I could maintain at around 1200 calories.0

I'm 44, 5' 2.5" & maintain at 1430 at 150 lbs. I am sedentary.0

I'm 20 and about 5'2. It varies, but for active days, I have to eat 1700-2100 calories to maintain my 108-114 lb range, and more like 1300-1500 for really inactive days, which is what my Fitbit Charge HR is telling me to eat.
10k steps in a day ensures about a budget of 1600-ish calories.0 -
5"2 33 years old maintain at 1000-1200. I run around 30 miles a week and strength train every other day. I don't eat back excersize calories0
-
5'1" and I maintain at 1400 calories. I eat back about 1/2 my exercise calories. I eat 1200 to lose about 1/4 pound per week, more if I exersize but I'm down to my last 10-ish pounds, so I'm not pushing anything hard.
eta: Oh, and I'm 44.0 -
I'm 5'1" 120 and maintain around 1650...but hover in-between (1450-1850) somedays..1

5'1" weight is 106 and I maintain on around 1500, MFP says 1370 and I am (unfortunately) definitely sedentary due to worsening health issues, I find if I eat the 1370 I lose 0.5 pounds per week, that was handy when I indulged heavily on my hubby's 40th and did gain a genuine 0.5 pounds because I ate the 1370 for a week and it was gone but if I want to maintain I need a little more, I am 39.0

5'1, 106lbs and 34 years old.
I maintain on 2000-2500 calories per day. Usually it's around 2250 or 2300. On lazy days like today...2000 to 2100. On more active days 2400-2500. Some days in between.
I'm pretty active. I wear a Fitbit Charge HR and take over 20K steps per day. Even on days I don't exercise. I lift heavy 3 days a week and do cardio 5 times a week. I also work on my feet and do a lot of running around at work. And I have a 19 month old little boy. And housework.1 -
Thanks all a good variety of numbers here guess it really does depend on how active you are. I would hate to have to eat 1200 to maintain though x0
-
I'm gonna aim for 1500 and do 30 minutes cardio a day see whst happens x0

I'm 5'1. To maintain i should be taking 1200-1600 calories. The intake must contain 35 % of Carbs, 35 % of Protein, and 30 % of Fat. Plus a good workout possibly a high intensity interval training (HIIT) , and strength training.0
-
I'm 5'2" & 47, 114-116 maintenance range, around 1800 calories. I lift heavy 4x/week and walk.0
-
Hi guys where do you get your maintenance calories from nearly at goal curentky eat 1200 but don't wnst this for rest of my lifelol0
-
I've recently transitioned into maintenance a few months ago. I'm 5'2.5", 66 years old, 126 - 128 lbs; medium frame. MFP gave me 1340 calories for maintenance. I exercise 3 times per week for 2 hours (1 hour weights + 1 hour cardio) per session plus walk to average 15,000 to 20,000 steps per day (Fitbit Charge HR); the steps include my total exercise. I eat back 1/2 to 3/4s of my exercise calories and I'm averaging anywhere from 1650 - 1850 to 1900 per day. I'm holding steady at my weight range so far.0
-
I'm 47 and 4'11" and currently weigh 130. I am looking to get down to 120 and then I will set a lower goal once I hit that one. I am small framed so I'd like to end up somewhere around 110-115 when I get to goal.0
-
5'1" at 57 yrs,I try maintain 1200 cal a day,i walk 3 to 4 times a wk for at least 1 hr. I wrkout 2 times a wk, somedays I will do elliptical 30 min. I lost 5 lbs in 2 wks.it took 8 wks to get scale to go down,I'm on my way now!!0
-
I'm 5'1 1/2", 115 lbs, 53 yrs old and trying to maintain on 1600 but still loosing about 1/2 lb a month. I eat back about 1/2 my exercise calories & don't worry too much if I have a bit more once or twice a week. I lift 5-6 days a week & try to get cardio or HITT in 2-3 times a week.0
-
I'm 41, 5'2, maintaining my 30 lb loss in a range around 120 lbs with a TDEE of 2200-2400 per my FitBit. I average 15K steps/day and do circuit training with light weights 2-3 days/wk.
I'm curious if those saying they maintain at 1200 cals are talking about their net calorie setting, if they are weighing their food and if they've tried testing to see if that's accurate by eating a little more consistently and monitoring impact on weight? That seems low for a TDEE even if petite.2
