Determined

So, I had my monthly meeting with my health coach this morning (actually it's been six weeks) . I went in feeling all depressed because the scale hadn't moved in two weeks. I stepped on the scale and the smile on her face was unbelievable. She looked over the paperwork and said "Another TEN pounds! You are doing FANTASTIC!" She went on to say how I am her "poster child" and she brags about me to her co-workers because I have done so well (with her help and encouragement!). She said that her co-worker asked how I was doing it and she just replied "Because she is determined!"

So there you go, I have a new mental catch phrase. Every time I think I am doing crappy, or ready to fall off the wagon, I will hear her voice in my head-you can do this because you are determined.

Then I came home and took a picture of myself in my sports bra and shorts and looked at the picture and promptly deleted it. I need more determination before I share THAT image with anybody! Have a great day!
