Monday is my start date. I would like to lose around 25 to 35 lbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why Monday? Why not today?0

Set positive mini goals besides the big weight loss one, like drink more water, eat one more serving of veggies a day than you currently do, find a lightened up version or recipe of a food you like and eat frequently - helps you feel successful faster and in control. Think of it as a process instead of magically tomorrow I'm going to "start" and be perfect... Today choose one thing you can do, or do better, that is small enough you have no reason to procrastinate. Just keep building on the incremental changes and habits and you won't be overwhelmed, and you won't ever have to worry about starting and stopping (or regaining!)0

just log down what you eat on here/drink more water/move every day doing something/start cleaning out your cabinets of crappy food/buy healthier food/go to bed earlier so you get up earlier to do more of the above/drink more water/
No but really just take steps that you know you can achieve.
Some inspirational words for you:
-THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT IN FOOD PREPARATION IS MY MOOD.-
-INSTEAD OF ELIMINATING FOOD, ELIMINATE THE ESCAPE.-
-LOSING WEIGHT ISN'T THE KEY TO HAPPINESS, HAPPINESS IS THE KEY TO LOSING WEIGHT.-
-I GAIN WEIGHT BECAUSE MY HEAD MAKES FOOD DECISIONS THAT IGNORE WHAT MY BODY WANTS.-
-EATING IS DESIGNED TO RUIN YOUR APPETITE.-
(love that one because my mom would be rolling in her grave about it)
Starting is the hardest part. Mentally just start now. Also remember eating healthy and exercising isn't something you will ever end. It just starts becoming who you are.
When you have second thoughts about this remember:
-IF ITS IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOU'LL FIND A WAY. IF IT'S NOT, YOU'LL FIND AN EXCUSE.-
-UNIVERSAL LAWS DICTATE WHEN YOU GIVE NOTHING YOU GET NOTHING.-0 -
Plan, implement, review and adjust. Meals, macros and workouts, find out what works for you and get it done and remember reward yourself (not with food) for all your victories.

Don't make any changes you can't sustain. If you have to have ice cream every day, do it and make it work. Otherwise you set yourself up for epic failure. Don't make radical changes either, although it's tempting. Incorporate a few small life changes gradually, then more as you can. You will be amazed at the difference the small changes make ( I.e., park in the last row of the grocery store and walk or take the stairs at work.) In no time you will be posting NSVs!
Mostly remember life is a marathon, not a wind sprint.
I understand the need to set a date to begin, it's a mental thing. I did the same thing. Good luck!0
