Hi! My name is Danielle. I'm 21 and not a bug drinker. I just recently quit drinking soda about 1 month ago. I weigh 215lbs and am trying to get down to 175. 40 lbs for now. I am starting a whole new life style for myself. Any support or just to talk about it is welcomed! Also from Panama City, Florida!

    Not a bug drinker?

Hi and welcome. As far as pizza goes, maybe you can learn to make a reduced fat version at home. It takes a lot of work to make pizza from scratch, so you'll burn a few extra calories, too.

    Hey Danielle,
Welcome. I love pizza as well, finding a way to make the crust in a lower fat manner is best, I haven't tried it yet but search for cauliflower pizza crust, looks promising. Avoid soda is a great idea, I drink, water, coffee or wine and sometimes a beer, but I account for it, no soda for me.

Anyone else have alternate pizza crust ideas?

    This^

I make dough from scratch, it's pretty simple. That way I know it isn't high fat, and I can roll it out thin.

Sauce is fairly low cal already. I pick one with lower sugar.

2% mozzarella melts nice, browns up too. Fat-free.....No!, just no!

Turkey pepperoni is 70% less fat. Chicken sausage will be lower calorie too.

As far as working at a pizza place.....this to shall pass. I had a job (fried chicken).....after awhile it's not that enticing.

Just use pizza as a reward or in moderation that way you'll appreciate the treat without the guilt. I've dropped 24 pounds in about 45 days and have had pizza cheat days at least 5 or 6 times.

You should try vegetarian pizza, I tried it , ( normally a sausage / pepperoni type of pizza) but since I'm watching calories for a few months I tried vegetarian and it was actually pretty good
