Have you ever done the PJFT?

I guess you will have looked into the requirements by now?
A family member is a fitness instructor in the RAF. As far as I recall for a 19 year old male it's a 2.4km run in or under 11:11, MSFT/bleep test level 9.10, 20 press ups and 35 sit ups. BMI min/max is 18-28.
How far are you from that?

I do the APFT, so I'm not totally familiar with your standards. Either way, healthy diet and exercise. I couldn't do a pushup or run but I took small steps to get there. I did as many pushups as a could everyday until I could do what was needed for the PT test. I also did couch to 5K to get my endurance up. I do sprints now to work on my speed. Some people like to do this pushing for points program: http://www.startfitness.com/pdfs/051.pdf Good luck!
