Alright, I can't help myself...

Currently I am a performer in the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire in my state (Connecticut) and it is one of the BEST things for my fitness kick. I walk for HOURS in hot sun, drink a lot of water, sword fight and gesticulate a lot. My eating is also spaced out nicely and it's easy to keep my calories in check. Attending a Ren faire can be good for you on the walking scale. (Just beware all the yummy food.) ;P

I will scamper off now to go back to my dancing. *phew* I'm tired... zZzZzZzZz

walking in ALWAYS good... I worked in a pizza place and drank TONS of soda, ate extra cheesy pizza and cheese bread.. EVERYDAY... and was STILL able to loose weight (at the time not even trying) because of all the hard work I was doing.. now that I am not working it's doesn't work quite the same :P:P:P

I have never been on one of those events, I bet I would like it though.. I am in NC though :P
  • That's awesome! I'm a soda fiend (which is really hard to cut back on) so if I could do the soda all day thing without suffering the consequences - faire is certainly the place to do it. LOL

And Google "Renaissance faires", I bet you could find one in your area. ^_^

I'm in CT - actually the park my parent's church owns has hosted a few of them.... I have a feeling they're doing another one this summer, possibly. Usually my rents volunteer and help out at em. Haven't been though.
