XBox Kinnect - Dance Central not in Canada :(

Ok,

So I am finally giving in and picking the Kinnect for my X-Box and I was looking at fun, fast dance games to pick up for the days when I can't get to the gym or I wake up earlier than expected and could do a 30 minute routine before showering and walking the dog (*I am one of those people who, if I wake up early and go back to bed will be groggy ALL day so I would rather wake up and stay up*).

Anhoo - back from my mini tangent... I was looking at the X-Box site and I saw DANCE CENTRAL!!! All this new up to date music and a hoppin dance game. So I was fully pumped and ready to purchase it instead of the Zumba game (don't get me wrong, I LOVE ZUMBA) and then I checked my local Wal-Mart, they didn't have it.... :indifferent: Ok... try another - same thing. So I look online and it is only released in the US :cry: NO FUN!!!

I want it!!! I wish that Canada and the US could release at the same time - now I have to get it from down there... not good considering it will be a while until I go down....

I guess Zumba will have to do in the mean time! :tongue:

Has anyone used the Zumba? Or Dance Central for that matter??

Thoughts?

    I have the Zumba - and while it is fun, even the beginning level can be challenging. And for some reason, it doesn't always see me doing the moves, so sometimes it says I'm not even though I am. I do think it is fun though and will continue to do it and I do work up a sweat.

    I bought the Kinect a few months ago and its been really fun. Have you tried ordering online maybe? I have Dance Central and use my HRM bc its not accurate on counting the calories up. Its really fun though and you can get a nice little workout with it. I also tried the trial version of Zumba and it was more intense then the other game. Hopefully you can get the games and enjoy soon :flowerforyou:

    SO I bought the Zumba game yesterday and I had a BLAST. I only did one warm-up work out because by the time I got everything set up it was almost 10. Even though it was only 20 minutes, I worked up a solid sweat and had a lot of fun laughing at myself as the game instructed me not to give up. I should have let it know that I am far from coordinated and I was doing the moves just not to the same calibur as it wanted LoL!

    Either way I am glad I got it - I would like to see if I can get myself using it atleast three times a week (combined with my usual gym routine of 2-3 times a week and 1 hour + walking my dog) that should do it :happy:

    PS - I still want Dance Central LoL - give the credit card a break and the bank account some time to build itself back up and we will see :drinker:
