I don't consider ice cream to be "junk food". But hey, that's just me.0 -

How in the world will that result in healthy weight gain???
You need protein, OP. Tons of it. Chicken, fish, steak, cheese, dairy - go for fatty cuts of meat and whole-milk products if you're having trouble hitting your calorie goal (this all assumes you're training appropriately, of course. Otherwise there's just no way to put on healthy weight, you'll just get fat.)0 -
There's a nice list here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10326769/are-you-a-hard-gainer-please-read/p10

The only way to gain 'healthy' weight would be to eat at a surplus and lift heavy weights consistently in order to put on muscle.0

Exactly this. Being on your feet and jogging and working two jobs just means you'll need more calories to gain weight. But if you want that weight gain to be "healthy" (which I'm assuming to mean "not fat") you'll need to lift progressively heavier and heavier weights in a consistent, structured way.0 -
does it matter what types of lifts im doing or is it just lifting in general that i should be doing and making sure i increase wieght0
