I tried Easy Tones (Reebok) ended up donating them, I wouldn't waste your money, just my opinion : )0

I have them and I hate them. They are fine for just doing daily stuff. But hiking, running, walking long distances I personally hated them. I never noticed a difference in the toning my legs, just that they made my feet hurt and after wearing them I couldn't exercise for days afterwords.0

I like my easy tones. they aren't comfy for exercising but walking around they are, I feel them after a couple hours in my calves and bootie0

Shape ups can really screw up the muscles in you feet and ankle if you don't follow exactly what they let you to do!0

FOr me they improve my posture which in turn helps my abs and leg muscles. I like the cushion in the sole as well. I found an inexpensive pair online that are not shape ups brand. Do a search online and you wll find ones that are less expensive.0

Why pay money to look like you have a club foot? I would wear heels...they work your butt and legs and you look good in them. Don't like heels? get wedge sandals, pumps anything.0

I read that the manufacturers are being sued for various reasons. One reason being their claim that they'll help you 'tone your butt'. It's been proven that they have NO beneficial effect.0

I have a pair and honestly haven't noticed any difference. They're comfortable, but not really any better/or worse than other gym shoes...0

They cannot replace a workout routine. They supposedly work by keeping you slightly, "off balance" so to speak, requiring tensing and using of muscles to keep you right. Something that is going to throw off your gait, keep you in this state is probably not good for you in the long run.0

I have shape ups,I bought them because I was unloading trucks at wal mart and on my feet ALL day. They were really good for that, but I did not notice any diffrence in toning or anything.0

I have the Reebock Easy Tones, and i really like them
When i first got them, when i wore them for a few hours i could really feel it in my legs and buttt.
Now, if they really do anything, i have no idea.... but i find them very comfortable and i wear them every time i work out0 -
I have shape-ups. I love them. I don't think they have done anything for my butt and legs, but they are super comfortable to walk it. I did notice my posture is better when I walk in them, thats about it.0

I have the New Balance toning shoes. While I haven't noticed any shaping benefits, they definitely help my posture. I have a tendency to walk with my toes turned out a little. These shoes keep me walking straight. They help me to stand straighter and feel very good on my back and knees. Plus, they are super comfortable to work in and be on your feet all day long.0

I have shape-ups. i think i have worn them maybe twice since january. you really cant work out in them and walking is fine, they are really comfortable but if you are in a hurry and not walking on solid ground like say the grocery store, they can be vary dangerous. my aunt bought them and owned them for 4 months during which time she twisted her ankle (broke it the second time). she works downtown and walks a lot and they made her unbalanced. i would say it was just her being a klutz, but in 44 years she had never had an ankle injury. saw a lady fall off the treadmil at the gym wearing them too. my aunt passed them down to me and like i said, they are comfortable but at the same time make you feel too off balance. and dont be fooled...they do nothing for your butt or legs that heels or regular shoes wont do. posture maybe...but only because you might hurt yourself if you want walk straight and at a slow pace.0

My mom is a physical therapist and has had a lot of people come in with back problems and other pain that was caused by them. As soon as she had them get new shoes the pain went away. BE CAREFUL!0

I personally have not used them, however, it stands to reason that even if they did work (and research on that is questionable at best), the law of diminishing returns would come into play sooner rather than later. That is to say, your body will get used to them, and over time it would become more efficient at burning the calories. Just like any exercise, the body needs to be continuously challenged to sustain weight loss and/or muscle gain. (Somebody correct me if I didn't word that quite right.)0

I haven't used them. I use K-Swiss Tubes, and even those took me awhile to adjust.0
