Wedding in the next six weeks -motivation

Hello, I have three functions in May. Two weddings and a pre wedding. I just finished a challenge at the gym and lost as lmost 20 lbs. Being in the challenge motivated me and kept me on track. Now I feel lost since I have no more weigh ins or team support. The next challenge is in May but need to lose about 12 lbs before the wedding. Any suggestions, challenges, apps, or online suppport? Thank you in advance

I like the Transformer challenges on Dietbet. Main goal is 10% loss in 6 months, since 1% per week is safe I consider it a very doable rate. There are other challenges at 4% loss per month but they stressed me out a little.

Use youtube videos. One person who has excellent workouts on youtube is Millionaire Hoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54QAieo3Gw0

Why do you need an event to keep you motivated? Isn't your health important enough to keep you motivated and on track?

Are you're losing weight to gain others' approval? I don't want to discount that, we're wired that way a bit.

If you have 30+ lbs to lose, you're not as healthy as you could be. Why not get on the mfp program of gradual weight loss you can sustain, which will make you healthier, give you a strong sense of sanity about how you eat and of course make your more physically appealing to others.

The second item - the strong sense of sanity - is what I have found to be the beat part of my program and not something I anticipated. It's worrh thinking about as you go forward.

I set my goals, I achieve my goals, I'm in control of my eating, and the old days of eating anything, anywhere at anytime are gone because that's insane. That is not how our bodies are designed to function optimally. Creating my program and living it has been freeing to me, the best reason to build a program for life.

    (You'll look nicer, too!)

    If you hadn't asked it, I would've.

Add me to the list as well. Must be something to get extra gifts. LOL
