Anyone else using these huge *kitten* pills? I went to the ultra hippy dippy health food store today and was asking about stuff for aiding weight loss. My question was more about protein shakes but some how I walked out of the store with these PGX fiber pills. I got really confused about what she was saying but basically I think I am supposed to take 2-4 of these pills with each meal and it they will help with digestion and blood sugar levels. hmmm dunno. guess I will try them for a bit and see if I notice any changes....
I was just wondering if anyone out there is taking these that may have more information about what they are....?

PGX is a great product because of the type of fiber that's in them made from the Konjac Root. You can purchase Glucomanan (The fiber) directly and spend less money than you would on PGX in the event you find you like it. The key is to consume the pills about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before your meal. Glucomannan is great for controlling blood sugar and binds with water to help make you feel more full. If you tend to gain a lot of belly weight, it could be due to an insulin intolerance and this product can be very beneficial to you. This is a helpful article that may explain it better than I do.. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mark-hyman/fiber-health-the-super-fi_b_594153.html . I usually order NOW brand Glucomannan since it is the cheapest I have found. I would recommend trying it out, be sure to follow the directions and go from there. It should also help keep you regular :-) Good luck!0

I've seen this on Dr. Oz! You take the pills just as you're sitting down to a meal, and they help to make you feel fuller. They also help to regulate your blood sugar so you don't get food cravings as often. I found a helpful blog which is www.blog.pgx.com and it explains more about how it works. There's also www.pgx.com which has some good information.0
