she finally said your 21 get your butt in their and cook haha joking I actually came to her and I love cooking and I was wondering if anyone know of simple meals for beginners

There is an interesting book called "Where's Mom Now that I Need Her" that includes stuff about laundry, grocery shopping, etc (there's also a "Where's Dad" with home repairs and the like in there). The book also includes some very simple and yummy recipes. They aren't what I would call "healthy" as is but you can look up simple substitutions for things online and lower the calorie counts.
I cook at least one meal for my bf every week, it's super fun! Enjoy!0 -

If you want to drop 30 bucks on a cookbook, I suggest the America's Test Kitchen cookbook. Super easy recipes and they're delicious.0

Fail proof dinner!!!!
Pork Chops, small baked potato (skins mostly) and green vegetable.
Brown pork chops - hot pan 2-3 min on each side. Set oven @ 325, and put cleaned potato in oven. Put browned pork chops in baking dish and cover with Low sodium / lite Campbell's Chicken Gumbo soup. Bake about 1 hour (depending on size of pork chops and w/ or w/o bone in.) Steam your favorite green vegetable. When the chops are done, plate up the chop, the potato skins and pour the drippings over both. It really is hard to ruin these, the soup keeps the pork chops really tender. The only thing you have to pay attention to is the size of pork chops. medium size, bone in, 1 hour. Good Luck!!0
