3 Stone Lost in 8 Months

If this can possibly motivate just one person then I'm happy!
I started my weight loss journey June 2015, I had been through a tough year and I turned to sitting in my bed watching endless TV series and eating food... I had no restrictions, I didn't do any exercise, and my intake of anything other than fat, salt and sugar was pretty low.
I just woke up one morning and decided to take control of my life and change. I first started by doing the Gillian Michaels 30 Day shred in my living room, I got it up on Youtube and did it every day without fail for 30 days - I really put my all into it, and with changing my diet completely, I lost my first stone within a month.
8 months later, I am 3 stone lighter, I go to the gym 5 times a week, I try my best to eat clean and as healthy as possible through out the week and when the weekend comes around I let myself have a treat/takeaway/eat out whatever I like. I think it's important to allow yourself a cheat meal or a cheat day - at first I was restricting myself a ridiculous amount that I was so unhappy and in turn, ended up binging. Whereas if I allow myself that treat meal, or treat day once a week, I'm satisfying the fat girl inside.
I do 45 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weight/strength training 5 days a week.
I currently weigh 10 stone 6 and would like to weigh 9 stone 7 so I am still working really hard to shift the last pounds and get to where I want to be.
I am not a nutritionist or a professional in the health department AT ALL, but I have really made an effort to educate myself on foods, exercise, I've asked questions, I've researched things relentlessly.. I am so proud of myself, and that's something I never thought I would say.
I really recommend taking progress pictures if you're trying to loose weight, or tone up. I am so glad I took the pictures when I first started going, seeing the difference on my body is my motivation and I love that.
The only person who can change your life is you, and you can do it. I thought I would be stuck the way I was forever, but I changed my mindset, my lifestyle and I put everything I had into it.
Any questions, or anything please let me know.. otherwise, I just want to say Good Luck to anyone who is reading this and you CAN do it

Almost identical! Started September 1st 2015. I'm 5'7 and was 185lbs. Now at 145 and feeling so much better. Still want to drop to 133lbs but I know that is going to take a very long time and I want to get fit in the meantime. 10K is booked for July and I know that to run successfully I am going to need food lol. So slow and steady suits me fine. Good luck all.0
