Is it true that we weigh more when we are on our periods?

This is my second week having my period this month (I missed a couple birth control pills I use to regulate it...), but I am still losing weight.

When my period ends (probably in another 5-7 days), should I expect to weigh less? Basically, is it true we weight more when we are menstruating?

I've been on a diet for around 1.5 weeks so far, I believe. Thank you and cheers to Mr Red :drinker:

most women tend to retain more water on our period which can cause us to weigh more but i don't know that that applies to everyone

I gain 2 pounds every TOM. But it's fast gone 1 day or 2 after. Everyone is different.

Oh no, I completely understand haha  I am 4'9". I haven't listed my height, because I used to be 4'11" since I was 13 and I am 21 now. I caught very sick all last semester, and apparently I shrunk...:indifferent:

I have only had it once since starting on here. I gained 4 lbs on day one of TOM, just happened to be my weigh in day, i dropped it the next day, lost 1.5 lbs. My weigh in for the next week the scale didnt move, and then when i weighed in on the following week i dropped 1.5 lbs. I did in that time lose inches though. so measure yourself to see if you are still moving in the right direction.
