Corn on the cob? Leafy salad? Peas? What do you mean by 'super healthy'?0

Oven roasted sweet potato fries?
Cauliflower made into rice?
Roasted mixed Mediterranean veg?
Quinoa spiced with Moroccan flavours, herbs, spices, raisins etc as if it's cous cous?
Greek salad?
Tabouleh?
Mashed carrot?
Stir fried veggies?
Mushrooms with garlic & fresh parsley in a creamy sauce (use no fat Greek yoghurt to give creaminess) ?

Okay, Sara's sound a lot better than my poxy ideas!! Listen to her!!!0 -
This is so vague. Usually, when I cook a main dish, there are certain obvious sides that would 'go' with what I make. Steak? Baked potato and a veggie. Chicen soup? A big salad. Protein, starchy veggie, and a non starchy veggie is usually a winning combo.0

Thanks guys!! I'm new to eating healthy and really cooking at all... I feel like I always end up making the same things repeatedly but I am glad I have some options now!!0

I always have a non starch veggie with dinner as a side dish. Our favorites are salad which is super versatile and broccoli with garlic and lemon juice.0

Roasted asparagus makes it to our table 2-3 times each week (if it looks good) and steamed broccoli once or twice. We eat potatoes (them = white, me = sweet) a couple of times each week. Green beans thrown in with a slow-cooking roast disappear as soon as they hit the table. Caramelized onions w/ mushrooms are a welcome addition to any grilled meat. If I make Mex-American fare, I serve fresh fruit on the side. Salad is almost always part of dinner. And lunch *lol* Oh! If the troops are getting hangry and dinner is still gonna be a while, I pull out the crudite.0

For a quick side, just microwave a bag of "steamables" frozen veggies. I go for the plain veggies-- if you pick the flavored or sauced ones check the nutritional info.
If I have time, I like roasting veggies with garlic cloves, makes the house smell great! Use some coconut oil, garlic cloves, and veggies of choice, cut to bite-sized pieces (not too small though). Roast at 400*F or so, stir and toss every 10-15 minutes. Done when they're crisp and starting to darken a bit.0
