Recipes not syncing

I've added a couple of recipes in the last 2 days, but I'm getting a transient message on both iPhone and iPad indicating that the recipes cannot be synced but are saved locally. However, they don't appear to be saved locally because I still cannot add consumption for a serving of the "locally saved" recipe to the dietary log -- the recipe isn't found when I search for it. Can you please advise if there is an issue with the syncing service and when it's expected to be resolved? If there is no issue with the syncing service, I would appreciate some diagnostic steps so as to go about resolving whatever my local problem might be.

Further to my previous post, evidently I'm consistently getting failures on syncs from my iPhone altogether. For any technical folks following in this forum, it's an iPhone 6 with latest iOS and MFP 5.14, updated yesterday. However, the sync issue was happening prior to the update to MFP 5.14 yesterday. The sync issues does not appear to be happening on my iPad, which is at the same software versions.

Sometimes I log out and log back in and that helps.

Yes, I tried that. Now sync is either very, very slow to finish or is never going to finish.

I have had exactly the same problem with my android phone when i was trying to add a recipe for a low fat cheescake I made (it was fab btw). It just didn't want to know. i think it took me three goes on two separate log in occasions to finally get it to add properly. Once added, I found you have to wait a few minutes before adding to your diary as the calorie per portion is added incorrectly otherwise.

Recipe builder is buggy as hell. Has been for years. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be getting fixed despite so many people reporting issues and asking for fixes.
