I just saw Dr. Oz and he said WALNUT OIL on salads and such, helps reduce belly fat!!! I'm gonna try it! He also recommended coconut oil to actually FIX wrinkles, Ingested, not topically applied, and canola oil helps strengthen bones by help them to absorb calcium! I love Dr. Oz! ... I'm goin' to store now to find walnut oil!...

Just be CAREFUL with coconut oil (anyone), it is a natural laxative, and too much will definitely make you siiiick. This is actually found to be many the cause of supposed "food poisoning" on Caribbean vacations, too many fruity coconut drinks.0 -
He recommended cooking with it and I never realized a person could ... I guess I thought of mounds bars when I thought of coconut... lol anyone have ways they use coconut oil they'd like to share?0

I agree, but many of us "healthy" folks still have wrinkles. It's always nice to have hope!0

how much do you have to ingest at a time? That is very interesting, good to know. Thanks for the post!0

Does it taste strong like walnuts? I can't handle their flavor...0

That_Girl, I don't know, I've never had it, but he said use it as you would any oil in salad dressing. Epol, no he didn't say how much, but I'm adding it where ever I would use any other oil. Hopefully any is better than none, as long as we're careful not to go overboard!0

I just tried it for the first time this morning... both my parents have been taking a tbls every morning (not that they have much belly fat to lose! grr) and they said the taste isnt that bad and not much like walnuts. I put some in my scrambled eggs (only half a serving... 130 cals is alot on something that wont fill me up!) and I couldnt taste it at all.. but I think I will def try it out and add it to things to see what happens! worth a try!!0
