Exercise + Numb Back = normal?

Weird question, but I had to ask! This is a new occurrence for me over the past few months and I've had no injuries that could have caused it. Just wondering if others experience this (primarily during cardio for me), if it's common, and if anyone knows why it happens? It doesn't stop me from working out, just makes it a bit more awkward feeling!

You should probably go about describing the circumstances, the location, and the duration of the feeling in order for people to get a better idea of what could be going on.

Bad form? Injury? Actually if it feels weird, it SHOULD stop you from exercising and prompt you to investigate first what is causing it. A back pain is not something to ignore and push through.

Well the last time it happened I was on the treadmill for an hour, and I noticed it after 40 minutes in. I tend to swing my shoulders since someone told me moving my arms helps to burn calories, maybe that's twisting my back an odd way? I'm not sure :(

Where exactly on your back, and how large is the area? For example, "Between the shoulder blades, about 4 inches wide".
