hey guys.

i am successfully upping my protein :). im not cutting carbs at all, but there isnt as much room for them with a high protein diet.

anyway, since im eating less fruit, less wholegrain bread, rice, pasta etc... my fiber intake has decreased.

any suggestions to up it... without going overboard on carbs? or sugar carbs,..

Lots of veggies! Low cal, even though they are carbs...and high in fiber.

You can also supplement with fiber. They have some powders that are tasteless and some people put it in their food or their water.

I've never had a problem being low on fiber and I eat around 35% carbs, 45% protein, and 20% fat for 3 days out of every 4 (I am calorie and carb cycling). Most of my carbs are filled with fiber, though, like oatmeal or veggies. I also use Shakeology which has lots of fiber (BB haters put out your flames, I am not selling anything).

i eat these scandinavian bran crisp things to help supplement it! one crisp (about the size of a gram cracker) is 12 cals and has 5g of fiber and 5g carbs. I also choose protein shakes that are high in fiber, like Fitsmart Fiber Shake
