Im trying to lose fat and maintain muscle. Any tips?

I feel like every time i try to cut fat i lose most of my muscle. I cant lift as much and they get visibly smaller

    You could try carb cycling? I did it for awhile and it worked well for me but I felt it wasn't sustainable for my lifestyle as my bf and I love to snack at night so low carb days just didn't work out for me I couldn't stick to my LC macros. But I've heard it's one of the best ways to lose fat and maintain muscle. **** IN BEFORE EVERYONE WANTS TO GRILL ME FOR THIS :D **** Just a suggestion to the OP I am not doing it myself and can't provide any proof that it actually works haha maybe someone else can support this claim though.

    Also, are you sure you're getting enough protein? It sounds like you're cutting incorrectly to begin with.

    Make sure you're eating enough calories and getting enough carbs and protein. If you're feeling weak when you lift there's a good chance you're not eating enough. You need fuel to lift or you WILL lose muscle.
