This is me! Gotten a bit stuck!

Sat on the sofa, under a stack of spaniels. I have just signed up to my FitnessPal and thought I would introduce myself.
I find myself, yet again, in a stressed out, anxiety ridden situation because, yet again, my eating habits are taking over. I am actually quite good at losing weight but keeping it off.... Not my easiest task!
I am stuck between the girl on the left and the girl on the right. And if nothing changes now, I will soon be back to that girl on the left. I promised myself, when I reached my target weight in May 2015, with Slimming World, that I would never go back. I have beaten myself up daily, for the past 8 months, for breaking that promise. I won't bore you with all the messed up reasons as to why I don't feel comfortable going back to slimming world at the moment!
Today, my focus shifts - to health and well being. Each meal as it comes, making those good choices. Moving more. Some quiet time alone everyday, to de-stress without Cadburys. And forgiveness for when I slip, as it will happen.
Most importantly, to quote my IT colleagues, I am "fixing forward". I am not looking back any longer. So there was a time I was slimmer? There was also a time when I was considerably larger as well.
And I am sure, after living with a neurotic wife for the past 8 months, hubby will be relieved to know this isn't an April fools either!
Hey everyone! Happy Friday!

I feel the same way. I have been heavier, but I'm far from where I want to be. Keeping it off really is the tricky part. I wish the weight came off as quickly as it seemed to creep back on.
Wishing you the best of luck with your healthy choices!0 -

Hello and welcome back!
What works for me: measuring and weighing everything I eat. Track everything that goes in my mouth, every BLT (bite, lick and taste), even gum! Eat as many one ingredient foods as you can (fish, chicken, nuts, cheese, fruits, veggies).
You will soon get back in to a healthier lifestyle.0 -
welcome back and good luck on your journey
