Calorie Goal

Is there a way to change my daily calorie goal? I would like to have one day at 1400 cals, the next at 1200 cals, the next 1000 cals and then repeat.

It's called calories cycling and I've been very successful with it. Like almost everything in health and fitness it's debated. I like it though. I keep my higher cal days on the weekends when I'm likely to eat more. I just log as usual since I don't have the premium MFP and know what days are what.0 -

Yeah, but (for example) eating 1200 calories Sunday-Friday then 2600 calories on Saturday is the exact same, long term, as eating 1400 calorie each day...So it's not really necessary so long as your weekly deficit is the same.

Calorie cycling isn't "necessary", but for some people it works well for adherence sake to have one or two higher calorie days a week.

Umm...a lot of people calorie cycle for lifestyle and adherence....0 -
I've done weight watchers for years and it's similar to what people do on there. They just eat their weeklies in addition to their daily points a few days per week and alternate. It's pretty much the same thing and it works for lots of people. Unfortunately, I don't do well with it. I do better alternating exercise days. I work out only every other day and on my off days I do yard work or hardcore top to bottom house cleaning. What works for some doesn't work for all.
