This is my first week with mfp and have it has turned me into a bit of a nazi with myself. Hoping to stay motivated and finally get back under 200lbs again. My goal is to loose 40 by October. Going to cabo, so need to get in shape. Any advice or guidance is welcomed!!!

I like to remind myself that I am in total control. When a weak moment hits, I do some yoga stretches and deep breathing.0

Don't get too ambitious too fast. Set small goals that are achievable, hit them then set new ones. It takes time for one's mindset and habits to change so allow yourself to go through that process, and forgive yourself for the occasional screw up. Just don't make screwing up something you do very often.
One itger thought, I see so many people decide to lose weight and the first goal they set is to run marathons or compete in physique or something along those lines. If that floats your boat go with it, but the first ten pounds has to come off first.0 -
So, I weighed in when I got home and have lost 6.4lbs this week. I decided to have a cheat dinner to celebrate. Chipotle burrito bowl. Only went over my goal calories for the day by 235. But think I owed it to myself for doing so well all week. Did feel guilty though afterwards0
