Upping my calories - opinions?

Hi all! I recently updated my weight on mfp and my daily calorie allowance dropped down to 1250. It used to be 1350 which I thought was managable. Considering going in to the settings and manually increasing the calories. I'm 5'6", 144lbs. Goal weight is 135lbs. Thinking of going back to around 1350 calories... does this seem reasonable?

    I think so! I'm 5'7 and 140lbs working with 1200 calories, trying to lose 10 more lbs. It's tough and the scale hasn't budged for a couple weeks, so I'm thinking of giving myself about 100 more calories daily if things continue this way for the next two weeks. I suggest giving your body about a month at a time to acclimate, and if you don't see results after that much time, make small adjustments as necessary. Best wishes!

    Adjust your weight loss to 1/2lb per week. As you get closer to your goal weight, it's not likely you will continue to lose as quickly. That will give you an extra 250 calories per day allowance.
