OK, so I know Fitbit calorie adjustment can reduce estimates based on all day activity. However, this surely cannot be doing so correctly. Today for example, I walked a over a mile each way to gym. Did 2 back to back classes. Then took my dog for a 6 mile walk . I've literally been active all day between 8.30 am and 3pm. Fitbit estimated I burnt around 1100 calories for this, which is roughly what my weekend always shows at. Mfp gave me 970 back, however I have just checked it again and this had reduced to 120. This makes no sense. There is no way this level of activity has only earnt 120 calories!! Something similar happened Thursday, I compared results to the week before, exactly same activity level, and there was 900 calorie difference!.what is going on?! I'm getting so frustrated with it now. How am I meant to track and eat right with such ridiculous variances?

Do you have MFP set to sedentary or some other daily activity level?

Mine was glitching out yesterday and doing the same thing. It's definitely frustrating but my activity level was about the same as it is every day so I just try to hit the same number of calories I do every day. It doesn't really matter if the numbers show green or red as long as I know I'm sticking to the plan.

ETA: It looks like mine is working better today
