In two days, we leave from Washington state to move to Germany! I'm not exactly sure why I posted this, except that it just hit me how soon it is :o

I saw your post about this on the "traveling" thread. Sounds like quite a journey and experience! You're much braver than I. All that uncertainty would make me nervous. Enjoy it and let us know how it goes!

    Have fun.
I moved from to Germany a few years ago. Having a great time here.
But I've lived abroad most of my life... take the time to learn the language and adjust.

Feel free to ask me anything.

@BZAH10 Thanks for calling me brave! I needed that. I can feel myself getting irritated about little stuff today, and I'm sure it's because I'm stressed. I know I'll be ok though! I think people can handle a lot more we think.. we just don't find out unless we're put in the situation, ya know? And the surreality of it (yeah, I just made up a word!) is probably making me less nervous too!

@EvgeniZyntx You moved from where to Germany? And to what part of Germany?

Yep, you're right. And good for you for going for it even though it may be scary at first because it will be an invaluable experience.
