Anyone else find this? For example:
18.12 - 18.4 (8lbs): 6 days
18.4 - 17.13 (5lbs): 10 days
17.13 - 17.4 (9lbs): 17 days
17.4 - 16.13 (5lbs): 18 days
16.13 - 16.4 (9lbs): 27 days
16.4 - 16.3 (where I'm at today: 7 days so far

I don't understand why this happens although it feels like it's psychological - except my body can't psychologically retain weight when I'm nearing another goal right???!!!

Anyone else find this and find it's extremely frustrating? It was exactly the same the last time I lost weight as well!

Did you adjust your calorie goal?

Correlation does not equal causality. I don't think you've got a dataset that proves very much more than weight loss is nonlinear and humans are impatient.

Your body isn't concerned with arbitrary scale numbers, I'm guessing it's a psychosomatic response to coming close to your goal and it taking longer as a result #fauxpsychology

I'm totally confused by your thread title and the content of your post. Isn't a stone 14 pounds? Not 8 or 5 or 9?

Anyway, weight loss is nonlinear. Plus, if you haven't reduced your calorie goal along the way your weight loss will slow down since your calorie deficit will get smaller and smaller.

It might be frustrating but you already know what to expect. Weight loss is not linear.

I know- it's just the specificity of the non-linear behaviour of the weight loss that bugs me I guess! It drops nicely down to around stone plus 4 then plays silly buggers for 3/4 weeks then carries on. J know what to expect it's just frustrating sometimes!
