This is never ending!!

New to the app but not the diet. I have been eating right and keeping things healthy, I know a lot of people do these cheat day but I decided that wasn't a good idea for me. I've been going to the gym and exercising, but the weight just seems like it doesn't come off. I fluctuate here and there 2 pounds but it always seems like it gains back, it's really shutting my confidence down about this losing weight thing. I head to my beach house in two months with family and friends I haven't seen in a year and I'm as big as I've ever been it's going to be really embarrassing! Has anyone else suffered from this? Or has any tips for me!

Going to the gym and exercising doesnt equal weight loss. Calorie deficit = weight loss.

I've been back to this site since November, lost a few, then gained it back. The thing is, I log in my planned meals, but then I eat more than what I logged in. I do not eat any cookies, cake or candy, but I over eat before dinner and at dinner. It's always a battle. Don't give up though, I'm not.

"Eating right" is pretty subjective and doesn't necessarily equal weight loss. And exercising doesn't guarantee it either. It's all going to come down to how many calories you're consuming versus what you're burning. Tighten up the logging, invest in a food scale for accuracy and you'll start to see the scale move.

Since you already got the info I think answered your question, I just wanted to add something you didn't really ask for OP :)

Honestly, this WILL be never-ending. If you think of this as a diet that will end when you get to your goal weight, you put yourself at a huge risk of gaining the weight back. Use this tool and the time you are spending to find a way to eat foods that satisfy you and make you happy while maintaining a healthy weight. It is possible, but it does take some trial & error and can be a little frustrating! But once you figure it out, you have a plan for the long haul.

    Good luck!
