    Hey there,

I had my boobs done, together with lipo and scar correction on my arms and chin areas at the same time. I can honestly say that it felt that I had been hit by a truck but it was all worth it in the end though. However, I too was advised not to do any high impact or weights for the first 6 weeks, and to be honest with you I did not feel comfortable at the prospect of doing it as my body did feel strange. Although, after about 2 weeks I swam 1 hour a day which helped me to keep me trim and to this day I still swim 1 hour a day albeit I do more than I did back then as I'm much fitter.

Good luck with it and try to be patient as it will all be worth it when you look at the new lovely boobs.

Take care and let me know how you get on.

You look like you're doing a fantastic job with the exercise and weight loss already. Six week of cardio alone may make things a bit strained but you can bounce back easy enough if you eat sensibly. GL

 I got mine done March 2008 and I had two kids to take care of. I didn't exercise then but I stayed home. I was carrying the kids and vaccumming within a few weeks... You do feel like absolute hell for the first couple weeks but it does get better!!

Good luck! You'll love it!!

I had mine done in August and I agree it was hard to lay off exercise. I started doing cardio after about 3 weeks, just real low impact, inclines ant a brisk pace. I didn't run or anything. Spin was a good way for me to get back in too, because you can pace yourself to what feels comfortable and its not much impact at all. I always wore a few sports bras too, to give more support. I waited on weights but admit, I picked up on things around the house that I shouldn't have that were heavy. (I lifted my holiday decorations out of the big attic all by myself one weekend because I was impatient to wait for my hubby, etc...this was only a few months out from my surgery so I know that was a mistake because they were HEAVY) I ended up getting a pocket revision this April because one dropped a little too low and he went in and sewed up my muscle pocket a bit. I STILL don't do any chest exercises AT ALL. I don't do push ups either because I am scared of messing them up. After about a year, I may incorporate some chest but as for now I rather be safe than sorry. I have heard mixed opinions on pushups and their effect on implants. SOme say it pushes them out to the sides so I am just being patient.

But I Absolutely LOVE mine and am so happy with the decision. My husband never acted like it was important to him at all. He felt I was fine like I was but now He LOVES them too! LOL

What size are you now and what are you planning to go to?

This isn't really related to Katie's question but I'm wondering for those of you that have had your boobs done what kind of implants did you get and how are they positioned i.e. on top or under the muscle and where was the incision? I am saving up to get mine done and am trying to find out from others what the best way to go is. I want them to look more natural, I don't want the Tori Spelling or Posh Spice look!

I went under the muscle and my incision is under the boob. My scars have faded so much you can barely see them and it's only been 10 months. I'm very pleased !
  • thanks for the advice ladies...im having over the muscle so i can still train my chest :) i just hope i recover quickly!!! xx
