Hey guys, looking for recommendations for a good pedometer for Android.

I have tried a few awhile back, and they either seem to drain the battery like crazy, or aren't very accurate. Has anyone come across one that doesn't have these issues?

My Samsung s5 tracks through s health and Google fit. They seem ok but you have to have phone with you all the time. That's why I like the fitbit clip it on in the morning job done

Thanks! I have an older phone, so those didn't come pre installed. Looks like Google fit is available even for my older version of Android (S health unfortunately not). So I will try that.

The "Moves" app is pretty accurate if you only need the step function. It's lightweight and works in the background. I was very impressed with its ability to accurately detect driving and distinguish it from real steps, and its ability to identify treadmill steps.
