Back on the wagon

Figured I should try giving the community here a shot. I've decided to try for the umpteenth time to track my calories again in conjunction with training for my first 10k run. I seem to do so well Monday to Thursday but do myself in on the weekends. Any one else struggle with the balance act of enjoying your down time while not totally erasing your gains?

    Oh I am there with you sir! I have to work hard on Saturday and Sunday not to erase all my running and eating right. Congrats on training too! I did my first 10k last September.

    Yes indeed! I only see my boyfriend on the weekends and we like to eat out quite a lot so I really struggle then!! I think setting a weigh in day as a Monday or Tuesday would help, and also just trying to remember why you are on this journey. And if you fall off the wagon on a Saturday, maybe train a little harder on Sunday to make up some of the damage. Good luck to you!
