I am a huge fan of Jillian. I just got her Yoga Inferno and Beginner Shred to add to my collection, and I plan on starting them this week  Looking for friends who also love her workouts!

Here's my story:
In 2011, at 25 years old, I started a journey to lose a lot of weight. I started at 267 and hit my lowest at 179 the following summer. I was thrilled! Then in 2013 I got pregnant with the baby I lost all the weight to have. Morning sickness brought back bad eating habits. Workouts went out the window. I forgot all that I had worked so hard to achieve. I actually didn't gain too much while pregnant, it was after the baby that the weight started to come back on. Too tired to cook or exercise, I am now sitting at 240 at my son's 2nd birthday, and that isn't counting the 10lbs I've lost since January. Not good...

I want to remember who I was before, when I was proud of myself. So I guess I am asking for some moral support to help keep me on it. My biggest problem this time around is that I have to remember that it isn't going to come back off overnight. The first time, it was all new and exciting, this time I am impatient and anxious to get back to where I was before. I need to get there! :)

I love Jillian. Her workouts are very effective. I'm going to do No More Trouble Zones here in a bit. I know my body is going to be screaming at me, but it was really effective when I did it several years ago.

Hi, add me! I'm in the same boat! My little girl is three and I've still got two stone to shift! I've been doing Jillian Michaels DVDs for two weeks now and a few others just so I don't get bored! I've also changed my eating habits and so far I've lost just over half a stone in three weeks!!:/)

I started her 13 week program Body Revolution 2 weeks ago. I just started week 3 yesterday. I love her programs and saw a lot of success a few years ago when I did 30 Day Shred.

I love Body Rev! You'll love it too. I started with 30DS way back when and it was great. I really love her format, so much so it's hard for me to like workouts by anyone else.

I have that one too! I like her newer stuff better though, with the mix of sculpting and cardio, plus much shorter workout time too. :)

That's awesome! Variety is key too, so you don't get bored and your body doesn't get used to it.

No More Trouble Zones was the only Jillian DVD I did more than once.

I like to keep cardio workouts separate from strength training, plus I found cardio that I enjoy (not jumping jacks and such).

I love her DVD's! I used to rotate 6 or 7 of them. I had a dry erase calendar and would write in which DVD I did that day (and what level) and how many calories burned per HRM. Before each workout I'd look and see which one I haven't done in a while and do that one.
As for staying motivated, I think about all the reasons to make good eating decisions and work out BESIDES weight loss! I sleep better, my skin looks better, I have more energy, I feel stronger, the um...nighttime activities are better, I feel happier, it reduces my stress. For you, most importantly, you're giving your kid a mom who will be around and healthy for a long time! All of that is worth a lot more than a smaller pair of jeans.

Hi I started the 30 day shred at weekend - my legs were sore after the second day they are still sore now and I am only doing level one. I am hoping the soreness will subside and eventually I can progress to the next level.

So last night I decided to try the 2 new ones I got, Yoga Inferno and Beginner Shred. I started with Inferno...After 3-5 WTFs I switched to Shred. I need to watch Inferno before I attempt it. It's so different than her regular stuff that I had trouble following it. But Shred was good. Almost too easy since I've been doing her stuff for so long. I did light that it was quick, so I'll keep it as a "I really don't feel like working out but I should" go-to. Back to Body Revolution Thursday. :)
