Today is the first day back in over a year!!! Walked with 264 calories to spare...1.3 miles in the rain!!! Not much, but it's a start for my 60lb weight loss goal!!!

Great job! 2 years ago I couldn't walk 1/4 mile without pain and rest stops. I started walking and personal training. This past Saturday, I participated in my 3rd 10K with ease. I ran the first 20 minutes without stopping, plus a few more running intervals, and walked the rest. 137 pounds lost to date.

PS I live in the Pacific NW, so I take LOTS of walks in the rain. A wide brimmed rain hat, and rainproof parka & pants make me barely notice it. The hardest part is mental--just convincing myself to go out in the muck, LOL.

That's amazing on your 10k, running, and weight loss!!! Along with my weight loss goal, I also want to try my first 5k soon!! Baby steps is what I have to keep in mind...I will get there in due time
