Hello!
My name is Jac and my husband and I are both on this site. We are both 21. I'm trying to lose 150 pounds by the end of 2017. I would love to add some friends close to my age range who are on a similar journey, but I would like to hear from anyone!

Welcome. I'm 35 but when I started I had 125 lbs to lose. As of today, I am 99 lbs away from that goal. It was on and off for me but as of Jan 01 this year I reaffirmed my commitment to changing my lifestyle to a much more healthier, active one. I struggle sometimes but everyone's support has been instrumental in keeping me on track. Having a buddy helps. My daughter is doing this with me. It's great that you have your husband to support you as well. Add me if you wish. I'd be happy to lend support0

I weigh 183 currently
Doing a job that takes my most of time and working out is not possible.
I started to cut my calories from mid february this year.
Currently i am on 1000-1200 calories diet.
Try best to do brisk walk for an hour atleast 5 times a week
Lets see where i end up with this.
Need support for sure.

Hi @Amnayla your eating way too low the minimum anyone should be on is 1200 c never go below 1200 go on healthyeater.com calorie calculator input your age height weight activity level - be honest - ( sedentary ) then eat those daily don't eat back exercise calories using this method
1200 is only fur people who weigh near they're goal you'll muck your body up eating lower

I am tired and sick of people judging me only by the way i look.
I am 5 feet 7 inches and weigh 183...my bmi says that i am obese.
My bmr is about 2200 calories.
But i will definitely have a review of my daiky calorie needs again ☺

It's great you and your hubby are in this together; that makes it truly helpful to have a buddy going through this with you, on the good days as well as the tougher ones! This is a long road, even after you meet your goal. I, for one, am having a challenge with maintenance!0 -

Stuff what people think just concentrate on how fab you are confidence outshines negative thoughts about yourself
Your not too over weight your tall so love you
Don't go hungry if you lose too quick you'll feel deprived and it'll jump back on you then you'll yoyo aim for 1lbs a week by Christmas you could easily be 133lbs & not starving

I'm 23 and lost 105 lbs my freshman year of college. Put a little weight back on and now I'm back on the wagon
Find what works for you and hit it hard. Don't forget a little splurge every now and then for incentive.
