Weekend Help!

So, what a bad week for me to start MFP! I totally forgot that I have my friends Birthday Train Crawl tomorrow.. which is basically like a bar crawl.
It's obviously a day full of drinking... which leads to insane amounts of calories! What are some low calorie drinks you guys recommend?
My mom said vodka & water with a lime, since most vodkas are only 69 calories... but with WATER?! Sounds icky.

Vodka and Diet Coke...0

If you are looking to lose weight and take care of your body..... how about only having two drinks! Then drink water without vodka. It is never a bad time to start a healthy lifestyle...... it is a lifestyle change!0

Body shots! :-p
I'd say mix in water as much as possible. Whatever drink you decide on, have 1 then have 1-2 waters before having your next 'drink'.0 -
diet coke and vodka sometimes a lime (called a skinny *****)..vodka is the way to go.0

Diet coke and rum. wine is great but you get a buzz quick from it. you can always drink a bottle of water and pretend the booze are hitting you already from eating healthier. Check the coolers maybe they have light versions, light beer is about 100ish depends which ones you choose.0

Vodka, lime and soda is really nice and low cal hun xx0

You can do it! Just think everyone else wakes up with a hanger..... you wake up to go do a workout! How much better and accomplished will you feel................0
-
Oh you can always blame the fact that you need to workout in the morning for the reason you dont want to participate in shots.0
-
Finlandia Lime Vodka and Diet 7up or you could get the low cal 64's or 55 beer.0
-
Well, when I started this I was going out pretty regularly so I had to work around it. Shots are fairly low cal and get you where you want to go. I personally went for Jose Cuervo gold. And then yeah get a diet coke and it looks just like a mixed drink so no one can judge you.
Or a bartender friend made me something called a Skinny Margarita . Instead of margarita mix its straight lime juice with salted rim and tequila. Mine was served in a martini glass which was fun in and of itself. But its much better than a regular margarita in cals. And hey remember to dance!
Have fun! Be safe.0 -
Yeah, I was planning on having a drink at the first bar (the most low calorie one I can think of) then water at the next. And repeat throughout the day. These train crawls are long days. I am definitely going to take it easy, but for when I do want to partake in the drinking it'll be nice to have something that isn't so crazy in the calorie department.
Thanks for the suggestions!!0 -
Dance your butt off while you area at bars and in between to burn of lots of calories. Who knows, you might burn more than you ingest.0

I will definitely do that! I may look like a freak dancing at a bar at 3pm... but I don't really care. haha0 -

Do NOT do this. I know it sounds like a good idea, but you can make yourself incredibly sick doing that. It happened to my room mate on New Years. You shouldn't start drinking water til you're done with alcohol.0 -
I would go with diet coke and vodka but have a glass of water between every drink!!:happy:0

Really?! I usually make sure to drink water between drinks to prevent a hangover. I was told a glass of water per 1 shot of alcohol whether it's in a mixed drink, or a shot glass. I've never experienced a problem. Only time I have ever gotten sick was purely from drinking too much in college.. which has happened to the best of us one time or another.0 -

Actually, that's quite true. I did this once. I alternated a glass of wine with water and did not have THAT much to drink and I ended up blacking out, getting out of bed, peeing on my boyfriend's Xbox WITHOUT pulling my shorts down, and getting back into bed. Not my finest moment when I woke up covered in a pee. But that had never happened before and still hasn't happened to me again so I blame it on the water! Now I always wait til after or only have one glass of water if I'm really thirsty.0
