Stretch marks :(

My husband doesn't care about mine (if he even notices lol) but if it really bugs you, rosehip oil works great0

They will fade with time. But girl, you are so beautiful... No guy is going to pay any notice to them.0
-
luckily they will fade overtime... however, if you hate them and they make you feel bad about yourself (not based on how anyone else will think) go ahead and get laser surgery on them.0

I lost 110lbs. Forget the stretch marks and those who have problems with them done need to be in your life anyway0 -
Thank you all so much! I really appreciate the encouragement and the lovely comments! Thanks so much0

As a guy, couldn't care less.
That's what we wanna hear My hubby just tells me to shut the F up when I talk about them lol
I wish mine didn't bug me so much. I've had 21 years to get used to them, if it hasn't happened by now i doubt it ever will..
I'm being such a debbie downer OP, sorry. But judging be the many posts on here about stretch marks, I'm in the minority, as most women and men don't give a toss about them!

Aw, it's ok, really. That guy who posted shirtless looks great, wouldn't you agree? Most people, men included won't give a crap about your stretch marks! Really what matters is how you view them though. Over time you'll probably realize they're not a big deal. I have them on my boobs, hips, arms, etc... They are not nearly as visible as they used to be though and I really never think of them. They used to really bother me though (when I was younger). Good luck! You are beautiful! Focus on your strengths / strong points!0

.
I've actually heard the opposite, tanning makes them more obvious because the white marks don't tan ?
That being said, I got my first stretch marks in my knees and on the inside of my thighs around 13/14 after a major growth spurt and they always bothered me sooooo much. I learnt to live with them, they're just a part of me. I don't think anyone I dated or my husband for that matter ever noticed - or cared (I just asked my husband to double check-he had no clue lol)
I also got a few stretch marks during my pregnancies
They do lighten considerably with time. My kids are 3.5 and 1.5 now and they're hardly visible. You have to really look for them to see them.
Congratulations on your weight loss! Keep up the great work and try and embrace your new body, you're doing awesome
Edited for typos
Yes, tanning makes them more visible.0 -

I was 217 and now im down to 195, my stretch marks are LESS noticeable because im loosing weight. I ALSO us Bio Oil. It is so amazing. My stretch marks are no longer red, they are very faded and look like tiny scars.
This is what happens naturally to stretchmarks, so you kind of proved that Bio Oil, whatever it is , does not work Products that work help regenerate and heal the skin, so red stretchmarks do not become scars.0 -
I have them on my inner thighs, stomach, hips, boobs etc! They've faded a lot but they don't bother me as much as they used to. I have a gorgeous tall and slim friend who looks perfect in every way. I noticed she has stretch marks on her legs too. I'd say more of us have them than don't.0

I'm feeling a lot more positive about these marks! I'll definitely give rose hip oil a try! I've been using castor oil and vitamin e oil, and it's helped a lot! I know with time they will get better0

I don't even remember when I first noticed mine. They really don't bother me. No guy has ever said a thing about them. I suspect most of them are too busy thinking "OMG, she's nekkid."
ETA: That really sounds like there's been a lot of guys. :laugh:0 -
Pretty sure I'm more stretch-marks than normal skin!0

skinny my whole life i got them when i got boobs and a butt during puberty again at 13 when said puberty happend i was still 98 pounds.. for me its just anything rapid. years later still there pretty faded. I have a lot of tattoos and have a hip/butt/thigh piece that covers them boob ones still there. They havent been red since i was a kid. Not one dude has say anything about them and ive been with some idiots. ha. ive had fraxel laser on some big ones and it helped (i had surgery scars i needed to fix and those went with it) but its so damn expensive. i never had big ones or a lot of them it killed me when i was a teen. literally couldnt care now.0

Got them on my boobs during puberty. Got them on my stomach with four kids, including twins. I was self conscious of the ones on my boobs in my early 20's but I could give two shiites now. Hubby doesn't care. He just likes the boobs. I'm proud of the ones on my stomach actually! My body has made four babies. How awesome is that!0

Yeah, I've had them forever. Plus 2 10lb babies delivered by C-section. Trust me. A man isn't looking at your stretch marks during fun time.0

No guy I've ever been with has cared about stretch marks. Didn't even cross my mind, to be honest. You'd be surprised at the number of women (and men) who have stretch marks - even the skinny ones who haven't been fat a day in their lives, due to growth spurts and whatnot. I suggest you don't let the scars bother you. If your insecurity due to them stems from bad self esteem, I suggest you address that problem, and the stretch marks will stop bothering you eventually. Unsolicited advice, and easier said than done (trust me, I know), but I'm putting it out there nonetheless.
And worst case scenario, you can consult a cosmetic surgeon for surgical treatments. I'm not really sure if they work or are even worth it, though.0 -
After I had my daughter I got stretch marks in places I didn't know was possible AND a C section scar. Felt self concious and hated my body at first but now I don't care. Everyone has them. You've lost weight and have the scars to prove how bad *kitten* you are. Feel proud of yourself0
