I've just read a blog about a woman loosing 3 stone in 100 days with no diet pills or shakes is this possible? With just healthy eating and exercise, 100 days? I need to loose at least 4 stone as quick as possible, I've put myself a 1000 cal a day limit and I'm also walking for at least a hr a day and cycling and I've been wrapping my stomach in cling film.

Any useful hints and tips would be much appreciated :)

42 lbs in just over 3 months. It's possible but you'd have to start out pretty heavy to do it. The bigger you are, the faster you lose in the beginning.

Your plan sounds foolish and unhealthy, not to mention unsustainable and almost certain to fail. Read the stickies in the General Weight Loss section, regroup, and set healthy and reasonable goals for long term success. Best of luck to you.

Why are you wrapping your stomach in cling film? To put in the fridge to eat later?

You can stop with the cling film, a waste of perfectly good food wrap and does nothing for your weight loss.

There are two ways to lose weight. One if the crash diet whereby you lose weight quickly, go back to your old habits and put to right back on again. (AKA yo-yo dieting)

And then there's the sensible approach. Eat a healthy, balanced diet at a modest caloric deficit losing a pound or so on average per week. Along the way educate yourself about nutrition and learn to be mindful about how much you eat - slow and steady and you may adopt habits that will help keep the extra weight off for the rest of your life.

and don't believe everything you read in blogs.
